Fans around Seattle

As my previous journal said, I'm headed to Portland this weekend for the Portland Comic Book Show (Sunday the 13th.) If you can't make it down to Portland there is another comics related event happening right there in the Emerald City. Short Run is going down on Saturday the 12th. No, I won't be there personally, but that doesn't mean you won't be able to see any of my work. If I'm not mistaken, fellow Olympia Cartoonists' Collective member Chelsea Baker will be there, and I think she's going to have copies of Laundry Day. Laundry Day is the OCC's second anthology and I do have a short comic within it, starring none other than Uncle Lucifer. If that's not enough for you, there will be a after party and art show at the Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery in Georgetown. There you'll have a chance to pick up a copy of my mini comic zine thingy, Super Hamster Begins. Sorry, there won't be any Jack Butchman there, the format for Butchman wasn't really fitting for a zine show, being all professionally printed and so on. Anyway, the Short Run after party starts at 6 at Fantagraphics and the exhibition will carry on through December 7th, so check it out.
